Coach. Educator. Author. Competitive Archer. Founder of AIM Creative.
I’m a competitive compound archer, a USA Archery Level 4 Coach and Instructor Trainer, and I hold a Master of Arts in Education and Training & Development.
I’ve spent years on the shooting line, in classrooms, and behind the bow, helping people develop skills, build awareness, and learn through purposeful practice.
Through those experiences, I discovered something that extends well beyond archery: meaningful growth develops when we become aware of what we’re doing, reflect on what we’re learning, and practice with intention.
That belief became the foundation of AIM Creative.
My experiences as a competitive archer, coach, and educator helped inspire AMP: Archery Mental Practice—a learning system that gives the mental process behind the shot the intentional practice it deserves.
My experiences in archery helped shape AIM Creative, but they do not define its limits.
Everything I create is informed by experience—as an educator, competitive archer, coach, author, and artist. My work brings together different ways of learning. Some begin with a story or illustrated character. Others use a journal, a mandala, a workshop, or the experience of practicing a skill.
Whether I’m helping an archer explore the mental process behind a shot, developing educational resources for children, or creating something entirely new, the same principles guide my work:
Awareness. Purposeful Practice. Growth.
Today, AIM Creative brings together AMP: Archery Mental Practice, a learning system for archers, and Bullseye Besties, a character-driven collection of children’s books and activities. These are two distinct expressions of a broader educational vision—helping people develop awareness, engage in purposeful practice, and grow through meaningful learning experiences.
What “Creative” Means at AIM Creative
At AIM Creative, creativity is both what I make and how I teach.
Through hand-drawn mandalas, illustrated characters, books, journals, and other artistic projects, I bring ideas to life in ways that invite curiosity and discovery.
Creativity also shapes how I approach education. Stories, art, activities, workshops, and hands-on experiences provide different ways to explore ideas, develop awareness, and practice with purpose.
Archery helped inspire this approach, but the possibilities extend far beyond the shooting line.
Whether someone is discovering a new character, exploring a creative activity, or developing a skill, AIM Creative encourages learning through awareness, purposeful practice, and growth.

ADAPTIVE ARCHERY
Archery offers opportunities for people with a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to participate, learn, and grow.
As a USA Archery Level 4 Coach and Instructor Trainer, I organize and lead adaptive archery clinics hosted at Rising Phoenix Archery in Troy, Michigan.
I work with participants, organizations, and the range to explore individual needs, adapt equipment and instruction when appropriate, and create opportunities for meaningful participation.
